Brought in by Nexus Capital to refine their client PuzzleHouse’s Shopify storefront (puzzlehouse.com), I focused on elevating two high-traffic touchpoints: the Contact page and the Request a Puzzle form (where customers commission custom puzzles). The theme’s out-of-the-box styling felt flat and inconsistent, so I implemented a full-bleed image background on both pages to create a stronger brand presence and clearer visual hierarchy. While there, I made targeted UI polish across the site—tightening spacing, standardizing border-radius, and smoothing small visual inconsistencies—so the experience felt cohesive end-to-end.

Working directly in the Shopify theme code with Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), plus HTML/CSS, I kept changes lightweight, performant, and easy for the Nexus team to maintain. The result was a cleaner, more engaging interface that the client called out as “exactly what we needed,” improving the perceived quality of the brand without introducing complexity.
